Can your firm handle a big case?
Absolutely. The Law Office of Rachel Ambats, PLLC is qualified to go up against big companies, institutions or individuals. As needed, the Law Office of Rachel Ambats, PLLC may bring on additional attorneys to assist in a particular matter.
How much will it cost me?
The Law Office of Rachel Ambats, PLLC aims to meet our client’s needs in a cost-efficient manner. We encourage a frank, open discussion about our fees with each client at the first meeting. We charge a competitive rate for our services. We offer both hourly and flat fees structures, based on the particularities of the case. On an hourly fee structure, fees are based on an hourly rate for services rendered. You will be provided with itemized bills detailing all of the work done on your case. On a flat fee structure, your legal fee is a stated sum for agreed upon services.
The payment structure for each case depends on the nature and complexity of the case, the anticipated time needed for the case, the anticipated costs associated with the case, and the potential value of the case. Some cases are more complex than others and may take more time, so the fees for all cases are not the same. There are also many variables can affect the costs of a case once we start working.
A pre-payment is required in order to begin working on your case. We try to keep legal fees as reasonable as possible. The amount of services rendered, however, is not fully within our control. We discuss with our clients options for services. If a client is unable to pay in full, we are often able to work out a payment plan.
Are there other costs?
In addition to attorney’s fees, there may be various expenses that must be paid to others in order to prepare your legal matter. For example, payments may be required to obtain necessary reports or copies of necessary documents, to initiate a lawsuit in court, or to prepare documents for filing.
How often do you settle cases out of court?
The Law Office of Rachel Ambats, PLLC aims to meet our client’s needs and solve their problems as efficiently and as fairly as possible without jeopardizing their best interests. Whenever possible, the goal is to bring resolution to the case without resorting to litigation, which can be costly. We are experienced in negotiating settlements on behalf of our clients. The nature and specific details of each case will determine whether a case is appropriate for settlement.
